Nyssara - The Bound Slumber
 
She lies in the coffin of silence, her breath stolen by chains of dream. Neither waking nor death would claim her, so the Codex sealed her in endless sleep.
 
Born beneath the eclipse of ash and flame, Nyssara was once a seer whose visions unraveled the will of the Codex. Her voice spoke truths forbidden — prophecies of rebellion, of faith broken and blood defiant. For this, the Codex bound her not in death, but in sleep, a prison between worlds.
They sealed her in a coffin of cedar and shadow, ropes across her wrists and chest, demons to guard her restless body. Yet still she dreams, and in her dreams she sings. Each note gnaws at the bindings, each whisper corrodes the silence.
 
The Bound Slumber is said to stir when the Codex itself trembles, her eyelids fluttering with omens. Some claim her song leaks through the veil, guiding the lost, driving the faithful to madness. Where Kaelen is the Beast and Christina the Martyr, Nyssara is the Dreamer chained — the promise that not even silence can endure forever.
