This glass is as empty as my life.
It waits for sorrow,
it thirsts for silence,
it drinks what the Codex denies.
 
The Vessel of Emptiness is no ordinary jar, but a reliquary of despair. Its glass is etched with a lament — words said to have been carved by a mourner who begged the Codex to take their grief. The plea was answered not with comfort, but with a curse.
 
The bottle drinks not wine nor water, but memory and hope. When held to the lips, it does not quench but steals the voice that speaks. When filled, it holds not liquid but absence itself — a weight of what has been taken. Some claim the cork is sealed with sorrow, and if removed, a silence pours forth like smoke, smothering all laughter in the room.
 
It is said that those who stare too long into its hollow frame see not their reflection, but their life already emptied. For the Codex marked this vessel as a reminder: that despair is a draught without bottom, and emptiness is the truest inheritance.
